LO3: Target Audience

Before I created my website I did a mood board that I thought was to be expected target audience that my website will suit. I think that I have achieved this target audience quite well as I have stuck to the main conventions of this type of website. Before creating my own website I looked at similar genres of websites that could help me when making my own. My target audience was for young people from ages 17 to 30 I think that this age group would like to use the website as it isn't over complicated but it isn't to basic either which gives it a sophisticated look that is seen as quite trendy.

LO3: Content

I have kept the text similar all the way through the website the banner at the top of the website is the logo of the artist this is there because it will be a recognisable logo two people. The font on the navigation bar is quite simple and gives the website a clean appearance. I chose different in mind that if the writing is to intricate it may distort the and make it hard to read, this is not what I want when people are trying to navigate through the website.

LO3: House Style

I have kept consistent style across the pages of my website. I think having a consistent house Style for a website is important if you want the website to look professional I'm making it more simple to use however it still looks good. The house style of my website is Grey black and white these colours create more of a sophisticated look to the website which is something I think is important when promoting music artists that need to be taken seriously. I think this colour also represents how the artist are seen as they are quite modern and trendy whereas if there was loads of bright colours the website would look quite childish and unsophisticated and this is not what I want the website to be seen as.

LO2: Budgeting

As I am using Wix as my website.

I think the most suitable wix plan subscription is the unlimited plan. If I was to use this plan I would pay £7.76 a month for a year.

The most likely rate of the eCommerce package deal I would pay for this website is £10.10 a month
for one year.

Cheaper Packages that I dont think would be suitable for the purpose of this website include:

To make a profit or break-even There will be a mechanise page where you can by albums, singles and other luxury items.

If all singles are at the price of 99p and I used the unlimited plan to break even there would need to be a least 8 singles sold within a month also making 16p profit.
